I attend Holy Names University and I am a freshman. Last week was my first time attending the Justice Cafe Session and I am delighted that I attended. I worked on housing for people experiencing homelessness in Seattle. During this time low income housing appeared very sparse with long waiting lists at housing agencies. Another bariier was stigma by housing staff to rent to a person expericeing mental illness and homelessness.
Hopefully there will be more programs to enroll thouse experiencing homelessness into housing.
