The arrival of the techies!!!!

We were graced with two wonderful techies who had alot to say regarding the role of technology in society. We evaluated the reality of the digital divide and how it is 'shrinking' supposedly but the issue of a knowledge gap being a larger problem.

The maiden voyage of the Marygrove Social Justice Cafe' was a great success! As Margret Mead said

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change

the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

We at Marygrove may be small in numbers now but we believe even in that we can cause a great change in the city if Detroit. Our first meeting was phenomenal and people not even in the state are excited about what is going on with…
